Balinese government urges to all stakeholders to reduce plastic waste in the Island. Since 2018, the government has been launching rules regarding the use of plastic in a daily basis by reducing plastic bags in the stores, traditional markets, hotels, and malls.
According to the Bali governor, Mr. Wayan Koster daily plastic waste in the Island has reached 829 tons, and if we don’t stop the island will be named island of plastic.
In order to fulfil the regulations, the government, citizens and NGOs get together and take action by founding a task force to reduce the use of plastic in Bali.
But we also need help form other countries to join and make Bali clean from plastic waste. In order to get more information about the task force of plastic waste, please contact Djohari (+62)82247818127
